JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Spearheading  and managing multiple projects across MGBS (planning, tracing, periodic review, monitoring, risk management)
  • Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan.
  • Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary.
  • Resolving cross-functional issues at project level.
  • Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary.
  • Managing project training within the defined budget.
  • Liaises with, and updates progress to, project board/senior management.
  • Managing project evaluation and dissemination activities.
  • Managing consultancy input within the defined budget.
  • Working closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs.
  • Definition and management of the User Acceptance Testing Program.
  • Identifying user training needs and devising and managing user training Program.
  • Project Governance – daily/weekly/monthly updates and project progress reported as per agreed schedule
  • Experience : 5+ years in required field
  • Graduate – Any Stream
  • Client Management: Managing and engaging key customers
  • Adaptability
  • Managing cross functional projects.
  • Proven experience as Project Manager in managing transitions and driving/supporting Continuous Improvement Projects.
  • Outstanding communication skills (Written and Oral) and Interpersonal Skills enabling

a motivating work environment.

  • Knowledge of MS Office and other Project Management tools
  • Certification in Project & Quality Management (PMP/Prince2/Lean Sigma).
  • Six Sigma / Lean certification – additional advantage.
  • Strategic in approach: understands and addresses inter-dependencies and real issues
  • Proven experience with projects of similar size and scope.

 

This would be an individual contributor role reporting the Manager Projects.
